Dr. Trang Luu-Grover, Chiropractor

Dr. Trang Luu-Grover is the Co-Owner and clinic director at ALTUS. She graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) in Portland Oregon with a degree in Doctor of Chiropractic, Master of Exercise Science, and a Bachelor of Human Biological Sciences. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley. She has worked as a personal trainer/kinesiologist helping a variety of clients reach their health and fitness goals before attending chiropractic school.

Dr. Luu-Grover has had the opportunity to volunteer with Mission Life International in 2015 and Spinal Mission in 2016 performing chiropractic care to hundreds of people living in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and El Salvador, and she enjoys giving back to the community and providing care to people in underprivileged areas.

Her goal as a practitioner in her Abbotsford chiropractic clinic is to find the root cause of the problem and then focus on preventative and maintenance care to minimize future injury. She is trained in a variety of techniques including joint manipulation, nutritional counselling, soft tissue mobilization, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, active release technique (ART), and taping.

Rob Cormack 1000 1328 - ALTUS Chiropractic and Physiotherapy

Dr. Rob Cormack, Chiropractor

Dr. Rob Cormack graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1980. He returned to his hometown of Prince George where he raised his family and built a busy practice.

He has served as a director of the BC College of Chiropractors and on the board of governors of CMCC.

After twenty-five years of practice, he moved to England and worked in a Chiropractic clinic in the city of Norwich for four years. In 2009, Rob returned to Canada and assumed the practice of Dr. Robert Turner, who has served the Abbotsford community since the late ‘70s. Dr. Cormack offers a wealth of experience and lifelong dedication to chiropractic.

Jose Otano 1000 1328 - ALTUS Chiropractic and Physiotherapy

Dr. Jose Otano, Chiropractor

Jose Otano completed his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2013 at the University of the Fraser Valley, then went on to complete his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. His interests included sports rehabilitation, diversified chiropractic adjusting technique, extremity adjusting, nutrition, and active rehabilitation.

He developed his skills and experience for three years as a Kinesiologist by providing exercise prescription and confidence in educating his clients.  After completing his bachelor’s degree at UFV, he completed an internship with the BC Lions during the 2013 season. He developed a love of sports rehabilitation and learned from athletic trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, and sports doctors.

An Luu graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to her graduate studies, she received the Dean’s medal of excellence when she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley.

An has completed several postgraduate courses to further her knowledge and clinical skills. These courses consist of orthopedic level 1, Mulligan concept, soft tissue release, K-taping, and Functional Dry Needling. She has proficiency at manual therapy, intramuscular stimulation/dry needling, soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation exercises/home exercise programs, electrical physical agents, and client education/advice.

Judy Todd 1000 1328 - ALTUS Chiropractic and Physiotherapy

Judy Todd, Physiotherapist

A graduate of Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy, London, Judy established Abbotsford Physiotherapy in 1985.

Extensive post-graduate courses have contributed to her achievement of Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy Canada, Level 3 Orthopaedic Division, and Level 2 American Hippotherapy Association.

Judy joined the team in July 2013 and continues to run her hippotherapy program at her horse farm on Sumas Mountain.

Ade Ige 1000 1328 - ALTUS Chiropractic and Physiotherapy

Ade Ige, Physiotherapist

Ade graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree with distinctions in Manual therapy and orthopedics in 2007. He has continued to keep up to date with current best practices in physiotherapy and has been utilizing his knowledge to help his clients achieve their goals. Ade moved to Canada in 2019 and has worked as a physiotherapist both in the hospital and the private sector in BC.

Prior to this he lived and worked as a physiotherapist in the United Kingdom for over 10 years where he rose to the level of an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner working closely with orthopedic surgeons and general practitioners.

Ade has varied experience in treating spinal and peripheral joint conditions including shoulder and elbow injuries, hips, knees, and ankles. His focus is on client-centered goals working with everyone to create a personalized treatment plan. He employs his skills in graded therapeutic exercises, taping, and hands-on approach including manual muscle mobilization, myofascial release techniques, and peripheral and spinal joint mobilizations within a biopsychosocial framework to optimize patient outcomes. 

Apart from work, Ade balances work with family life. He is a keen cyclist and has been on cycling trips since moving to Canada. 

Nikkie Brar 1000 1328 - ALTUS Chiropractic and Physiotherapy

Nikkie Brar, Physiotherapist

Nikkie has completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in England. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology at Simon Fraser University. Nikkie is also qualified in Sports Massage and is very passionate about helping people get back to feeling like their best selves.

Van Ngo 1000 1328 - ALTUS Chiropractic and Physiotherapy

Van Ngo, Registered Massage Therapist

Van completed his Registered Massage Therapy program at CDI College in March 2021. Prior to completion, he possesses a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (RTA) Diploma which helped develop his skills in client care and he found his newfound passion in Manual Therapy during practicum. He’s committed to providing quality care to his patients that aim to improve their physical and emotional health.

Van enjoys utilizing various techniques such as Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release, and Joint Mobilization to restore function and movement throughout the body. He believes in the foundation of patient-centered care combined with therapist-patient rapport to create treatment plans that benefit the patient’s quality of life. His goal is to reduce pain while improving mobility, strength, and body awareness. Van’s inquisitive nature inspires him to continue learning new techniques and concepts to provide better treatments to his patients.

Zarah Jamoralin, Registered Massage Therapist

Zarah Jamoralin completed her Registered Massage Therapy program in December 2021 at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. During her 2 years in the program, some of the experiences she truly valued include her time at GF Strong Rehabilitation Center, working with UBC athletic clinic, and treating pre/post-natal mothers in her school clinic.  

As a massage therapist, Zarah’s goal is to help any patient achieve overall wellness and a pain-free range of motion.  She ensures each treatment plan is catered to each individual and uses a variety of techniques such as Swedish Massage techniques, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release, and Joint Mobilization to help in recovery and relaxation.

Nicole grew up in Ladner where she met her husband. They then moved to Abbotsford with their two children to start some new roots. She has previous experience as a veterinary assistant and is eager to shift her passion in helping animals to people.

Lisa moved to BC from Denver, Colorado with her family in 2003. She is a full-time mom of 3 daughters and a home business owner who has a passion to help others live a healthy, fulfilled life.
